Women in Aerospace gets a mobile-friendly redesign
Arlington, VA (December 28, 2015) – Women in Aerospace was organized in 1985 to connect women in aerospace-related professions, raise their visibility within the sector, and promote their advancement. NeverLand has been working with WIA since 2008 and was very proud to be selected to implement WIA’s website redesign. NeverLand and Totib worked together to create a cost effective website design that services WIA’s main demographics using desktop browsers while still supporting mobile and tablet devices. Compelling scalable visuals, mobile friendly horizontal / compressible menuing, floating columns, and device variable white space use all create a layout where content is comfortable to read. The design was tested and tweaked on over 40 different platform/browser combinations including Windows, Mac, Linux, iPhone/iPad, Android, Blackberry & Windows Phone using Chrome, Safari, Internet Explorer, Edge, Firefox, Opera, and others.
