NeverLand and the National Association for Information Destruction's (NAID) Launch a New Database-Driven NAIDonline.org RSS Feed

National Association for Information Destruction Alexandria, VA (August 12, 2002) - NeverLand and the National Association for Information Destruction, Inc. (NAID), today launched the new NAIDonline.org. The new site includes an updated design, and many database-driven features.

NeverLand was selected to recreate the web site with more intuitive information architecture, database-driven content, an updated “look and feel,” and to incorporate more features of the NeverLand CUE™. The CUE™, a content management system, includes the client administrator controlled "Latest News," "Newsroom," advertising banner system, and database updating capabilities, without needing any knowledge of database or programming languages, or even HTML. It also includes a new CUE™ feature that attaches newsroom articles to Adobe Acrobat PDF files to accompany the article for more complete resource sharing.

The “NAID Market” is a centerpiece of the new NAIDonline.org. It is a database-driven tool which allows visitors to search for nationwide information destruction experts. Accompanying these results are subject specific banner ads, provided by the CUE™’s ad banner system. The “Certified Members” section enables visitors to verify certification of specific members. The certified members are listed by complete contact information accompanied by their original and expiry certification dates. This feature may develop a level of trust between the association and the person inquiring about the validity of a member’s certification, thereby assisting NAID’s certified members. The NAID “Members Page” allows visitors to search NAID’s members by state or country, and if a member is listed as doing business in an adjacent state, its information will also appear in the search results. The “Members Only” section, is a password protected area for NAID members. Included in this section is an easy “QuickJump” feature, that provides more simple navigation. The NeverLand Community™ “Latest News” plug-in is integrated into the home page. This plug-in pulls the latest press release headlines automatically from a database and feeds them into a specified page. This plug-in both dynamically generates new content, and when placed on the home page, improves major search engine placement.

Bob Johnson, NAID’s Executive Director mentioned, “We are delighted with both the process and result of working with NeverLand. Their cooperation, dedication, flexibility and creativity were instrumental in developing our new site. We came in on time and on budget. There were no surprises, except for how seamless and easy it all was.”

According to NeverLand’s CEO, Patrick Mills, “Our goal was to create a site with the scalability NAID needs to keep pace with its robust growth. This truly dynamic and database-driven site accomplishes this goal. We look forward to continuing our relationship with NAID as their membership continues to grow.”
